The crew from the Gamerco Water and Sanitation District are responsible for reading the water meters on the 28th of each month. It is illegal, as a resident, to open the meter can lid. If you are caught, you will be charged a $300 tampering fee.
You may not see our crew physically reading your meter on the 28th of the month. Our crew does an electronic radio reading by driving past your meter and collecting the readings.
Once your meter is read, it will take approximately 5 business days for the bills to be sent to your mailing address. If your address has changed, make sure to contact the Gamerco office at 505-863-6762. You will be required to submit a written request to change your address.
